We are delighted to announce an exclusive four-course wine dinner with Château Ausone, one of the very top names on Bordeaux's Right Bank. The estate is a landmark in Saint-Émilion, sitting atop the commune's limestone plateau just outside the medieval village itself and has long been considered among the finest producers of the appellation. Taking place in our Green Room, the wines will be paired with a seasonal menu from our Culinary Director Pascal Sanchez.
Across the evening, our host Antoine Gimbert, the Commercial Director for the Vignobles Vauthier will guide us through a selection of wonderful vintages of the grand vin along with the estate's prized second wine, Chapelle d'Ausone.
Wines to be tasted:
Château Simard, 2016
Château de Fonbel, 2019
Château La Clotte, 2018
Chapelle d'Ausone, 2018
Château Ausone, 2006 and 2016

Get your tickets now before they sell out, for this very special opportunity. Château Ausone is not a wine casually served. Its "minuscule production", once observed Robert Parker Jr., "makes it nearly impossible to find commercially." Production remains low, at barely 20,000 bottles a year, but the signature of its exceptional terroir is always present: aromatic richness, velvety tannins, finesse and generosity.
