This event has ended.
Cancer is now the #1 cause of mortality in high-income countries. Early detection and screening are known to improve outcomes and extend lifespan, however standard cancer screening only exists for five types of cancer, simply a fraction of all possible cancer types. As a result, a number of broader spectrum cancer screening tests have arisen based upon magnetic resonance imaging (MRIs), biomarkers, circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA), and circulating tumor cells (CTCs).
Sumit Rai is an expert in early cancer detection, runs two cancer non-profits, and has been involved in cancer research for nearly 15 years. He will navigate us through the pros and cons of these tests and their differentiation to help you decipher and choose the best cancer screening choice for your longevity.
